4.20.12

Braxton turned 6 weeks old yesterday!! Still a wonderful baby and wouldn't take anything in the world for him! He has got where he can sometimes go about 7 hours at night time without a bottle but the past two nights we have been getting up twice to feed him!! I feel that we are making progress with him though! Kids grow so fast, I don't like that I just wish he would slow down but then again at the same time I can't wait for him to be able to talk to me and tell me what's wrong! We are going to family reunion Sat. Aug 21st so Great-Grandpa (papaw) can show off his great grand babies to all of his brothers and their kids! Will deff post pictures of that!

Easter Weekend

 This past weekend we decided at last min to make a trip to the beach so we went to Myrtle Beach Friday night we arrived at around midnight and we had a great time while we were there...we didn't take Braxton down to the ocean but we did stand on the balcony and let him look out he seemed to enjoy that but he loves being outside anyways! At the hotel it was Dustin, myself and Braxton and we met my  mom and sisters down there and a couple of their friends. When we got up on Sat we went to Denny's to eat and man that was so good first time I had bacon in a while since your not suppose to have it while your pregnant! Anyways back to Braxton we met up with my cousins and aunt and uncle on Sat and we had a blast with them...family danced, blew bubbles, had cake and ice-cream for Stacey and Christians Birthday!! Then we came home after all of that and Easter Sunday we got up the Easter Bunny came and brought him a book, ring toys and a tractor then we went to church and then we went to my mother-N-laws house for a little while and we colored Easter eggs and hid them for my niece and nephew to find (Braxton will be doing that next year!!) On Monday we went to work with Daddy (Dustin) and after that we went to see Pappy and G.G. and we went to dinner with them he got lots of love this weekend that's for sure!!

G-Nanny gave Braxton a puppy that sings songs and helps them learn for Easter. Braxton absolutely loves it he has been laughing at it and holding its leg, it is one of the cutest things I have seen in a long time!

Going for a walk

Braxton has got where he is really lifting his head up and actually being able to hold it up for a couple seconds instead of it falling back down. He is VERY alert of whats going on around him. He also LOVES going outside so we try to take a daily walk even if its just to our mailbox so we can get outside for a little while. I cannot believe he is 4 weeks old now and my ol' my has time flown by!

Braxton 4-1-12

We had a good day today we started out by going to church--you should see all the kids in the Sunday School class that I help teach--3 of the little girls drew pictures of Braxton I kept each one of them so I can show him when he gets a little older. I can't get enough of him...I never knew you could love someone so much in this short amount of time--it's crazy! It's like every time I look at his face I fall in love ALL over AGAIN!! Braxton had a bath today and he did great this time it was so cute he actually enjoyed it! Dustin is such a great dad which I knew he would be a dad/father but he has been amazing with Braxton.....might I add Braxton has both of us wrapped around his little finger plus (grandmas and grandpas)..... I put him down around 8pm in his crib and put a blanket rolled up behind his back so he would stay on his side and the little goober pushed it over and when I walk back in there he is on his back--how he did this I have no idea!! Well I hear him crying --that's my sign!! ;-)
